What are your opening hours?
We are open for lunch from 12pm-145pm & dinner from 5pm-9pm Thursday- Monday (closed Tuesday and Wednesday). However, if holidays /special events fall on Tuesday and Wednesday our days may alter.
How long do we have on a table and when does the restaurant close?
Guests can stay on the table for two hours from the reservation booking time. Our last booking is at 9pm and the restaurant closes at 11pm (times may vary during quieter times of the year).
Can we reserve window tables or specific floors?
Due to the capacity of the restaurant, table configurations and the vast number of requests for window tables, unfortunately we are unable to guarantee reservations of window tables and upper floors. If you require a ground floor table due to mobility issues, please let us know and we will try our very best to accommodate.
Do you take reservations?
Yes, we do accept reservations. You can make a reservation by calling us or booking via the website portal.
Do you have vegetarian/vegan options and Gluten free options?
Absolutely! We pride ourselves on trying to offer the best quality meals that we can and therefore our menu is quite small. However, we will have a vegan option and gluten free options. We can also cater to different dietary requirements.
Is your restaurant kid-friendly?
Yes, we welcome families with children. We have a kids’ menu and highchairs available.
Are you pet-friendly?
Unfortunately not.
How often do you change your menus?
We change our menus throughout the year according to changes of the seasons and availability of ingredients.
Do you have a bar or a special area for just drinks and aperitifs?
Unfortunately, not, our restaurant spaces are reserved for dining.
Is parking available?
We do not have a private car park, there are council carparks close by to the restaurant and local taxi companies are available.
Do you offer takeout or delivery?
Unfortunately, we do not offer takeout or delivery.
Are gift cards available for purchase?
Yes, we offer gift cards that make the perfect present for any occasion. They can be purchased at the restaurant or through our website.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and credit and debit cards.
Do you have a cancellation policy?
The Kitchen Restaurant is a small independent run business, and we really appreciate every guest who dines with us. Due to number of no shows and late cancelations we have received over the last two years; we have decided to implement a cancellation policy. Unfortunately, this is necessary as no shows greatly impacts the business. When booking online via Quandoo you will have to read and accept our cancellation policy before your booking is confirmed. Card details are secured safely by Quandoo and only charged if we do not receive 24 hours’ notice to cancel or a failure to show up. You will receive confirmation and reminder emails from Quandoo. You can cancel via quandoo, email us or call us before the notice period. Your booking will automatically incur a cancellation fee that is noted when confirming the booking if we do not receive 24 hours’ notice of cancellation or failure to show up.
Can we bring balloons or decorations when celebrating a birthday?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any decorations due to the size of the restaurant and tables configurations.
